2023 Maternal and Infant Nutrition Conference Features Westat Research

Westat’s Brenda Brewer, MMSc, is presenting research at the 2023 Maternal and Infant Nutrition and Nurture Unit (MAINN) Conference in Grange-over-Sands, England. The 3-day international, interdisciplinary conference to be held April 19-21, 2023, is hosted by the University of Central Lancashire. This year’s theme is Nutrition and Nurture in Infancy and Childhood: Bio-Cultural Perspectives.

Brewer, a Westat Associate Director for Clinical Research, is presenting: Influence of Marketing via Digital Platforms Observed Across Seven International Studies (Indonesia, Vietnam, India, Thailand, Nigeria, Philippines, and Mexico) That Impact Knowledge and Behavior of Pregnant Women, Mothers, and Health Workers.

She has also authored a poster: Market Influence on Breastfeeding Observed Across Seven International Studies (Indonesia, Vietnam, India, Thailand, Nigeria, Philippines, and Mexico) Impacting Compliance of the WHO Code and Relevant National Regulations.

This important research was funded by the Access to Nutrition Foundation (ATNF).
