Deepak Khatry Associate Director and Biostatistics Lead

Mar 14, 2023

Deepak Khatry, PhD, will be participating at the Festival of Biologics in San Diego, California, March 20-22, 2023. The conference brings together attendees from pharma and biotech, regulators, academics and research institutes, together with their partners across the value chain to share biomedical and clinical research, create new partnerships, and tackle the clinical trials, manufacturing, and commercial challenges involved in bringing new therapies to market.

Khatry will host a roundtable session and give a presentation, both on Monday, March 20, 2023:

Invited Roundtable: (2 half-hour sessions): 11:30 am-12:00 pm; 12:05-12:35 pm: “Clinical Trial Design Implications of the Recent FDA Dose Optimization Guidelines for Oncology Products”

Invited Oral Presentation: 4:30-4:50 pm: “Important Trial Design Considerations in Early Phase Clinical Studies During Development of Cancer Drugs and Biologics”

“Careful consideration of clinical trial design options is important to all stakeholders to not only optimize a clinical trial from a probability of success and operational time and cost-efficiency criteria,” stresses Khatry, “but also to satisfy regulatory expectations needed for increased likelihood of regulatory acceptance of a proposed clinical trial protocol and eventual study results.”
