Georgine Price is a project manager with a nursing background and 18 years of experience in clinical trials research. At Westat, she has been a project manager for a United States-based influenza trial, two international tuberculosis projects, and two oncology projects. She also served as a protocol specialist for three full-service research networks sponsored by NIH.
Ms. Price also has a background in occupational health nursing and established a DOL-funded project in Bangladesh. In her work with relief organizations in Azerbaijan, she evaluated and managed health education programs (including a pilot reproductive health education program) and conducted focus group surveys.
Earlier in her career, Ms. Price worked at the Division of Pediatric Immunology, University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland where she coordinated AIDS Clinical Trials Group perinatal protocols in accordance with Good Clinical Practice standards.
Ms. Price spent two years in Peace Corp service as a nursing instructor in Nepal and is conversant in Japanese, Azerbaijani, and Nepalese.
