Michele Snyder

Project Manager

Michele Snyder is a project manager with 15 years of experience conducting and monitoring clinical research. At Westat, she serves as a main point of contact for sponsors and as a liaison to sites participating in multisite trials. She is responsible for site and investigator support, database queries, preparation and management of budgets and timelines, and other aspects of clinical trial operations. Ms. Snyder has worked extensively with MS Project, Excel, and Word. She is familiar with Oracle Clinical and a variety of other project-specific data collection programs.

In her current work, Ms. Snyder is the project director for a phase III randomized, placebo-controlled study to examine the efficacy and safety of study drug for the treatment of lower respiratory tract parainfluenza infection in immunocompromised patients. She serves as the primary point of contact for the sponsor, monitors the scope of work and project budget, and tracks timelines and deliverables for this full-service clinical study conducted at 90 sites across 12 countries..

As the laboratory project manager for clinical trials of a valproic acid product for treatment of patients with significant hemorrhage, Ms. Snyder oversees the nonclinical laboratory assays being conducted by multiple vendors. She tracks assay progress, deliverables, and timelines.
